Welcome to US at Home! This is a semester course worth one half credit that should complete your US History credit that is needed to graduate from Windham High School. During the next two quarters, we will look at domestic events in America since 1900 to present day. My plan is to look at the following topics in the following order: Issues in America today (obesity, health care, immigration, etc.), the Progressive Movement (Prohibition and Mafia), the Great Depression & New Deal, the Civil Rights Movement, Media & Technology and then the War on Terror. If you do not see something on this list that you are really interested in learning more about, please let me know this at the beginning of the course so that I can work on it.
